(Shopping, Culture, Influence), a cultural event featuring 31 artists from a variety of different disciplines. It runs until July 29 in the Marinas shopping precinct and the Ottoman Shipyard. The exhibition aims to bring together shopping and the arts in a unique way. Thomas Kutzlis poetry machine performs every Friday and Saturday from 8 - 10pm (in the shopping precinct), and paintings hang in the window at Gant, Homestore, Müzik Market, Mudo, Nautica, Beta, Mavi, GNC, Creperie, Paul & Shark, Sedef and Il Paradiso. Our other big event this month is the 5th International Gant Cup, organized by BAYK, with sponsorship from Gant and Milta Bodrum Marina. The four-day yacht race takes place July 27 - 31 and takes in Bodrum, Kos, Yalıkavak, and Turgutreis before returning to Bodrum. The evening prize-givings and parties should make for a relaxed atmosphere after a hard days racing. Participants have until July 25 to register (at the BAYK office). From August onwards, it will be open to members back in its old place, but with a completely refurbished building and cafeteria.
